More Funnies

More conversations with Rockford

mom and son

Mama and Rockford

Pretty Mama

I was on my computer on my Facebook page and I point to a picture of myself.

Me: “Rockford, who’s this pretty lady?”

RF: “Ha ha ha, you’re not a lady, you’re a Mama!”

Everybody wants to be near Mama

As the leaves were following from the trees outside I thought I’d pick Rockford’s brain.

Me: “What happened?”

RF: “A leaf fell.”

Me: “Where from?”

RF: “The tree up there.”

Me: “Why did it fall?”

RF: “Because it didn’t like it there and wanted to come down to be with Mama.”

Ah yes, everybody and everything wants to be near Mama, is how he sees it.

Talks with Nana

Nana: “What did you do today?”

RF: “I went to the library.”

Nana: “What did you read about? Did you see animals, pets,  colors?”

RF: “No, I read books.”

Nana: “Well what was in the book?”

RF: “Pages.”

Another literal answer from my boy.

Call the Dr.

Rockford woke up holding his hand. Apparently he had slept on it.  “My hand is hurt. I have to go to the doctor,” he said.

He makes his way up the stairs and puts it in front of me and says, “See, I can’t move it.”

…No I can’t see that.

From the Bathroom

RF:  “Mama look at me.”

Me: “No, I don’t want to see you go pee.”

RF: “You don’t have to look at me pee, but you can look at me.”

My sweet boy.

He’s so shy, that boy of mine

Rockford and Nana were walking in the mall when they walked by a kiosk. The girl working the kiosk waved and smiled at Rockford. Rockford didn’t respond so Nana told him, “Rockford she’s smiling and waving at you, you should wave back to her.” Rockford replied to Nana, “but Nana you know I’m a little bit shy.”

Let’s hope this is always the case with girls in the future.

Somehow I don’t think Rockford will always be shy about talking to girls…..
