Ok today’s funnies are more cute sayings than anything. I just needed to share how cute my son is and how what he says really, I mean really makes me go, “Really? this is my son?”
I am putting Rockford to bed and I lie next to him and put my arm around him. A couple of seconds later he looks at me and asks, “Mama why do you put your arm around me?” I answer, “Because I love you and I want to be next to you and hold you.” Then he replies, “Oh,” I start chuckling at this and he quickly adds, “What’s so funny.” I can’t resist this so I just say, “because you are one cute kid and I love you so much.” Again he replies, “Oh.” This kid, he keeps me on my toes.

Saturday morning and Rockford and I are awake and daddy is still in bed. I see Rockford go into our bedroom and start to sing, “Rise and shine and give God the glory glory, rise and shine and give God the glory glory…” This was so cute I had to sneak a peek into the room and I see daddy waking up, looks at me and we just lock smiles at this cute moment.

I was in the kitchen about to fill up Rockford’s cup with juice when it tipped over and spilled some water that was still in there. Rockford was standing there watching me and I said to him, “Silly mama huh?” His remark was perfect, “No, silly water.” My son is perfect.

Awwww to Cute your son is so handsom and his name is very fitting, Don’t you love how that happens!
When I tell people his name they always reply, “Rockford is such a big name for a little boy.” I guess my boy is destined for big things :)I do think it is fitting for him and hope he doesn’t hate it when he grows up 🙂
