Friday Funnies: Funny Sayings by Rockford

He likes to correct

Funny way of saying things

kids playing on a race car

"Not like that Rocco!"

While at the zoo we are watching a show. At the end of the show they release about a dozen birds over us.

Me: “Look Rockford! Look at all those birds!”

RF: “Those aren’t birds Mama. Those are parrots.”

Me: “Rockford why did you take off your shoes?”

RF: “What shoes?”
Me: “Those shoes!”

RF: “But those aren’t shoes. Those are sandals.”

*****

RF: “I can’t do it! I’m not strong enough. I didn’t eat my vegetables!’

…He said this when he was unable to pack a lot of sand onto his shovel in the yard. I didn’t correct him either in hopes he does eat his veggies.

*****

As we are walking in the park to find a place to sit Rockford notices the trees and shares his appreciation for them.

RF:  “I like trees.”

Me: “Why?”

RF: “Because they are cute…and they talk to me.”

I was dumbfounded too.

*****

Me: “Don’t give Rocco anymore apple. He’s just spitting it out.

RF: “Like Jonah?”

Me: “Yeah, like the whale spit out Jonah.”

RF: “It wasn’t a whale, it was a really big fish that God made for a purpose.”

…I would hate to be his Sunday school teacher.

Have a Fabulous Friday! Blessings All!

Awww he is too cute….. I wonder what the trees tell him. God speaks to all of us in different ways. It’s good to know he spreads his love using nature

Jes I asked him but it was making less and less sense to me then he said, “nevermind”. He keeps me on my toes with his grasping of theology, but then again his Daddy is a Bible/Theology major 🙂 Thank you for stopping by appreciate your feedback 🙂

Thank you Stephanie, he gives me enough material to keep these coming every Friday. Great to have you stop by and give your feedback. I will check yours out too 🙂
