Well today marks our eight year wedding anniversary and as the cliché goes, it feels like it was just yesterday. I wanted to share a little about this to our two boys who keep asking why they are not in our wedding video (well Rockford really). Here is another letter to my boys.

I am getting ready doing my make up in the bathroom when Rockford walks in.
 
Rockford:  “Are you ready Mama?”
Me: “No, I’m not done doing my make up.”
Rockford: “Let me see.”  (Examines my face as if witnessing unfishined work) “Oh, yeah you’re not.”

I wanted to take this time to write another letter to my boys to tell them how being a mommy for me has been such a  journey and full of joy AND how I never lost sight of who I am as a woman and as an individual.
