Mama stays calm and cool
Well I have really taken to heart the concept of finding joy in the simple things in life. I am enjoying my view through the eyes of my toddlers and want to bring you a series I want to call simply…”Simple Pleasures”, how appropriate. So take note and start enjoying your simple moments in life they will live in your child’s memory forever.

This week Rockford was all about the outdoors world, our backyard. My bedroom has a glass sliding door and opens to the backyard. I had let Rockford go outside while I ready myself. No sooner do I get into my room when I see branches and twigs lying on the floor. ..
On any given day my son Rockford will come up to me and say, “here you go mama, this is for you.” In his hand is usually some torn leaf, smashed pine cone or stone he randomly came across while outside. As random and as useless a dead dried up old leaf or pine cone that has carelessly been stepped on may seem, I have kept it. Let me candidly share with you how my husband, Rocky feels about this.
