It has been truly rewarding…and entertaining to go through a Presidential Nomination process with my 3 1/2-year-old son, Rockford. He has shown his love for his country and Presidents’ since he was two. Now I see him striving to grasp how a person becomes President and what type of person makes for a good president. Get a kick out of his perspective like we, his parents have.
Have you ever thought of how great it would be to be able to actually look back and see a couple of minutes of your childhood? Maybe sitting with your family for dinner, watching your favorite TV show/cartoon, playing with your parent, being read a book by Mom or Dad? I wish I was so lucky, but at least I can do this for my kids. Here is my challenge to you…
The other day I am driving into garage with boys in the backseat. As we approach to park we see Daddy working out…pause. We sit in car for a minute and stare.
Me: “Wow…Daddy is strong!”
Rockford: “Yeah…like me.” 🙂
